It is found that a mixture of honey and cinnamon cures most Diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Scientists of today also accept honey as a "Ram Ban" (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side Effects for any kind of diseases.
Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients. Weekly World News, a Magazine in Canada, on its issue dated 17 January, 1995 has given the following list of diseases that can be cured by honey and cinnamon as researched by western scientists:
HEART DISEASES: Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread, instead of jelly and jam, and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also, those who have already had an attack, if they do this Process daily they are kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heart beat. In America and Canada , various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that as you age, the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalize the arteries and veins.
ARTHRITIS: Arthritis patients may take daily, morning, and night, One cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon honey and half teaspoon Cinnamon powder before breakfast, They found that within a week, out of the 200 people so treated, practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain, and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.
BLADDER INFECTIONS: Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.
TOOTHACHE: Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey and apply on the aching tooth. This may be applied three times a day until the tooth stops aching.
CHOLESTEROL: Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of cinnamon powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient were found to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10 percent within two hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken three times a day, any chronic cholesterol is cured. According to information received in the said Journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complaints of cholesterol. By the way, if you're taking cholesterol medicine, STOP! They all contain STATIN which weaken your muscles...including YOUR HEART and none has been shown to stop heart attacks or strokes!!!!
COLDS: Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon cinnamon powder daily for three days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold, and clear the sinuses.
UPSET STOMACH: Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomach ache and also clears stomach ulcers from the root.
GAS: According to the studies done in India and Japan, it is revealed that if honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.
IMMUNE SYSTEM: Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacterial and viral attacks. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant Use of honey strengthens the white blood corpuscles to fight bacterial and viral diseases.
INDIGESTION: Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey taken before food relieves acidity and digests the heaviest of meals.
INFLUENZA: A scientist in Spain has proved that honey contains a natural ingredient which kills the influenza germs and Saves the patient from flu.
LONGEVITY: Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken regularly, arrests the ravages of old age. Take four spoons of honey, one spoon of cinnamon powder and three cups of water and boil to make like tea. Drink 1/4 cup, three to four times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and arrests old age. Life spans also increases and even a 100 year old, starts performing the chores of a 20-year-old.
PIMPLES: Three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. If done daily for two weeks, it removes pimples from the root.
SKIN INFECTION: Applying honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts on the affected parts, cures eczema, ringworm and all types of skin infections.
WEIGHT LOSS: Daily in the morning one half hour before breakfast on an empty stomach and at night before sleeping, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup of water. If taken regularly, it reduces the weight of even the most obese person. Also, drinking this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body even though the person may eat a high calorie diet.
CANCER: Recent research in Japan and Australia has revealed that advanced cancer of the stomach and bones have been cured successfully. Patients suffering from these kinds of cancer should daily take one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder for one month three times a day.
FATIGUE: Recent studies have shown that the sugar content of honey is more helpful rather than being detrimental to the strength of the body. Senior citizens, who take honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts, are more alert and flexible. Dr. Milton, who has done research, says that a half tablespoon of honey taken in a glass of water and sprinkled with cinnamon powder, taken daily after brushing and in the afternoon at about 3:00 p.m. when the vitality of the body starts to decrease, increases the vitality of the body within a week.
BAD BREATH: People of South America, first thing in the morning, gargle with one teaspoon of honey and cinnamon powder mixed in hot water, so their breath stays fresh throughout the day.
HEARING LOSS: Daily morning and night honey and cinnamon powder, taken in equal parts restore hearing

Avocado's in the Lowveld Mpumalanga
In our case Heaven.
Some time back myself and my beloved found ourselves spending a Long Weekend (Well deserved one I might add) at an Avocado Farm in the middle of the Lowveld near Sabie. The farm was nested in between the Sappi Forests, with only a long dirt road giving it away from the (Main)road. On leaving the main road there is nothing to see but massive tree's hanging over what is a real farm road, little streams running from side to side every 100 – 200 Meters, tracter tyre patterns still freshly pressed in the soft fertile soil. One cant help but notice and feel the peaceful surroundings already wrapping her arms around you, nobody seems to be complaining as they gaze out the windows without uttering a word.
It takes us around 40 minutes to arrive at a rusted unlocked and already open Main Gate. Strange how we were all taken back by this, as in the City you wouldn't dare attempt such brave habits if you were to call it that. Never the less we proceed through the gate to find what was called the main farm house with three smaller houses around it. This was where the farming family lived and stored all there goods together with their tools. Everybody here is content / happy / peaceful and most refreshingly helpful. After no hassle nor fuss we were shown to our Humble little House for the weekend.
It took us all of about 10 minutes of unpacking and already we could not fight the urge anymore. We had to walk, explore the rolling hills which were perfectly planted with fruit baring tree's. Off we go, beer in hand and only nature's sweet peaceful sounds to fill your ears. Within minutes we find ourselves in the middle of a Avocado and Macadamia Nut Plantation. Walking through the isle's, one cannot help but notice how long they are, each row of tree's must easily be 1 kilometer long with each row having every single bit of information about them. Date Planted / Number of Tree's / Last Harvest Date and their own individual names. One can only wonder how passionate the farmers are about their Plantations.
Tired of walking we decide to sit, rest and take in our surroundings. While resting we noticed just how big these Avocado's hanging off the tree where. You would never find such a Huge Avocado in the shops, even for the ridicules prices we pay. We decide to pinch one off the tree, Oh Ok it was just one Promise (we did tell the farmer).
Sitting on the soft soil in between the rows of tree's we decide to cut the Avocado open and eat it. As we cut it open all this juice poured out, we thought there was something wrong with it as the one's in the shops do not do this (typical city folk ha ha ha ha).Taking a bite of it after sometime of inspection released this sensational taste bud frenzy, it was unlike any other Avocado I had tasted, full of juice and flavor.
Question : Was the Avocado that much better because it was Stolen ?
Stay tuned for the Macadamia Nut half of the plantation, and the rest of our stay on the Farm including Farm Animals.

What a Feeling
Hello all,
It only took us around Four or Five Months of talking about starting our Blog to actualy doing it ? Now that we making Head way and seeing something happening gives me a sense of purpose. As you will see through out our Blog we Love Nature and Animals, and being stuck in a concrete jungle or office the whole day really sad'ns me.
I find myself sitting at my desk in front of my Computer screen starring out the window, the bird sitting on the wall across the walkway seems happy / free / content just to sit and observe the surroundings.Seeing this takes me back to time spent in the wilderness, looking at nature and spending time around nature makes me realize how we tend to take it all for granted. Instead of taking our surroundings given to us by Nature and making the best of them, we always looking or trying to change them. Why is this and what is it making us humans do this, surely it cant all be just for the money?

Join us while we show you how to make your very own Veggie Patch while we make our's
A – Z of Subsistence Farming
Subsistence Farming or a Veggie Patch as many people know it, is one of the easiest ways of contributing to Global Warming and even Saving Money in these times. On City Bushman we will provide you with a Step by Step guide on how to start your very own Veggie Patch while we make our very own Veggie Patch.
First of all when Starting out, you will need to find a suitable place to put your Veggie Patch. Keep in mind that you do not want to put it where there will be a lot of activity around your new Veggie Patch. Somewhere quiet and out of harms way is the best remedy. Keeping in mind your Veggies will require at least 4 -5 Hours of sun light each day.
Once you have decided on a location for your Veggie Patch it is recommended you mark or determine the size of your Veggie Patch (Do Not make it to large if you are not able to maintain the Veggie Patch)
Keep it Large enough for you to maintain and at the same time not to small, as you wont be able to plant enough Veggies if its to small. The next step is to Turn or Loosen the soil until its soft enough for you to work with (This takes some time). The deeper you dig the better you Plants will grow. Use quiet a substantial amount of water, this will help soften the soil (Not to much as it will become very Muddy).
Once you have loosened all the soil, it is very important you take all the weeds / grass and any large stones and sticks out of your soil. This will ensure easy maintenance and planting of your new Veggie Patch.
The next step once you have finished loosening the soil, make designated rows for each type of Veggie you intend planting. Make sure that you do not bury the seed's to deep, each pack comes with the recommended depth at which to plant your seeds. Once you have planted your seeds (make sure that you do not plant them to close to each other) water and mark each row as to know where which plant will grow.
We will keep you updated every step of the way with pictures included of our Veggie Patch. If you would like to share your stories with us please feel free.
We always value your input and support.

Making your own BONFIRE
This is where we start
Create a large/safe fire pit to make your BONFIRE. First make sure you are far enough away from any dead trees, buildings, houses or your camping equipment. Then use large rocks/stones to make a fire ring at least 1.5 to 2 meter's in diameter, and dig the pit down about 15 to 20 cm's.
Step 2
Lay two large logs next to each other in the middle of the pit, leaving about 30 cm of space between them. Use logs that are completely dead and dried out.
Step 3
Place a large pile of (leaves, bark or lots of balled-up newspaper) in between the two logs. This will act as your fire starter, so make sure you have enough to create a large flame that will light the Built tepee above.
Step 4
Gather a bundle of thin dry sticks about the thickness of pencils and place it on top of the leaves/paper leaning at an angle against one of the logs. Then lean two more bundles of sticks across the first bundle, but make sure to leave enough room for the fire to breath and for you to reach an arm in to light the leaves/paper.
Step 5
Lay two more logs on top of the pile perpendicular to the original logs. Fill the gap in between the new logs with larger pieces of dried wood, and repeat this process until you have a stack of wood about knee high.
Step 6
Surround your stack of wood with long pieces of vertically leaning dried fairly thick branches. Then make a tepee with three or four long logs around the structure, and surround it with even longer pieces of thick dried logs. Make sure to leave yourself a small opening in order to light your newly built BONFIRE.
Step 7
Reach in and light the leave/paper, making sure not to destroy the tepee. Lightly blow on the ignition to fuel the flame if it doesn't catch at first. Within 5 minutes you'll be grilling marshmallows and enjoying your very own BONFIRE.
Enjoy and as us Italian (South Africans)would say (BORN UP A TREE)
Thank you for all your support, please keep sending the comments and information.

1 - 7 September National Arbor Day
As we all know Arbor Day or week is the time for all of us to chip in and plant Tree's.
We all know how 1 Tree from everybody can make a difference in our Carbon Foot Print. Tree's are valuble is combating or Eleminating the Carbon Monoxide we produce. I have found this Diagram i added in below on how the best way to plant a tree is done. I do hope this makes it much easier for anybody who had doubts before.
Trust me when i say my first couple of attempts failed terribly, all i had to show for it was a dead piece of wood.
I will be glad in helping anybody with any further Questions or guid lines.

Plastic Bags from Shops
Plastic Bags one of the worlds biggest killers!!
Then why do Shops and retailers still offer them to people. Do you not think paper bags will be ALOT less harmfull to our Planet? Maybe people or shops should just put the Price of these Plastic Bags up so less people buy them. Its crazy how almost everybody know the damage this is causing but, us humans still craete such a huge market for it????WHY????
I leave all you beautiful people with this picture i found very very very Disturbing.

Our last visit to Sabie Mpumalanga we found ourselves going down this river on Truck Tubes. If i can try explain in words it would be (Magic / Peacefull / Childish / Wonderfull). The water was crispy clean with this unberlievable shine to it while floating down the hill with a certian majestic motion to it. No friction or violence, it seemed that every little element on this stream was working in harmony.I found it absolutely amazing how this stream just kept on winding through the Mountains with no end nor beginning. I can end this with saying WOW WEE.

Lets put the City head to head with Nature
I find it funny how many people such as us always miss and long for the BUSH, but never have time or MONEY to get out there.
The smallest of things in nature make us miss it such as the Crickets that never give up Cricketing or the bird in the tree that will sit the whole day and chirp the most plesent tune. Funny how these little things do not make us FED UP like the Cell Phone that never stops or the door Bell that rings the whole day. If you live in the city like we do take two seconds to think about this.................... Wake up to hooters and traffic or Birds and Water flowing down a peacefull stream shaded by untouched tree's.
Funny as i sit in my Lounge typing this thinking about the traffic i can hear on the Highway situated around 700m away. I do think it is myself to blame as i compare it to the farm or bush thus take note of it.
Until next time i leave you with this Question.
WHEN LAST DID YOU CLIIMB A TREE ?????
